The 45th Anniversary Apollo XI gets a high legibility score from me!

Good question. I, for one, am very concerned with legibility, but primarily on reading the time. I find the watch highly legible in that regard because of the contrast of the gold minute and hour hands versus the dark dial. The sub-dials are actually not very legible because the indices and numbers are cut from the same material as the dial so they will blend in unless you hold the watch a certain way. The hands on the sub-dials are very legible for the same reason that the minute and hour hands are. The lume on the watch is excellent and lasts for about 8 hours with normal charging. For my needs (because I rarely use the chronometer) the legibility is very good and I am very happy with it.

I would add that this watch is stunning "in the metal" and if you like the photos of it, you will definitely like the watch!

Cheers,
Jim
