. . . congrats on owning a rare and desirable Constellation. Arrowhead markers, too . . . don't believe I've seen another exactly like it. White gold cases are extremely rare but do exist in both 14 kt and 18 kt for a few Connie references including 2852....

. . . exactly like it. The case looks like a ref 14398, but that's an early '60s model fitted with a cal 561 movement. The dial looks like it's from an earlier late '50s Constellation ref 2954 with a cal 504 movement. Can you share images of the movement ...

. . . but that's precisely what happened, Max. Not only had I never seen a 2988, I'd never even heard of this reference, at least not to the best of my memory. What makes this lapse jarring is that I'm familiar with ref 298 9 . It never occurred to check ... 

I have no vintage Omega or any other vintage watch. But this can change quick, i discovered a fine auction site. Real fun to bid i’d experienced.
