I was a bit out of my comfort zone with this one but I figured, how could you go wrong getting a watch this pretty? Omega made a very similar model with very similar dial designs and essentially the same movement except that the omegas were generally in steel or 14k or 18k gold cases. And there's the difference in value in today's market with the omega costing 3-5x the cost of the equivalent tissot.

You are right - difficult to resist. I was all set to send my standard response declining the offer to sell me this watch until I saw the pictures. Next thing you know it was paid for and on its way to me.

This case style was associated with fixed lugs (don't really know the reason behind it) in both tissot gold plated cases and solid gold omega cases. And it is a snapback case which I would agree typically does not go with fixed lugs but there you go...
