...Always wanted a classic Omega Constellation with the bent lugs pie-pan dial. Either the 14900 or the 167.005 would do. I've been able to get the front-loading 168.025 and the Japanese market re-make with the 1011 movement. I honestly had written-off ev...
Hi Gator, it was a good decision to buy it despite the small issues which can be "mended" easily... crowns are available on the XXXX all the time. The condition of the case is stunning - all the crisp edges, never polished as it seems! good purchase - con...
the problem is that i cant afford one at the moment at least i know where there's a nice one when i have the money it looks like a lovely piece and a crown is not the highest of priorities best Graham
Hi Bill, hi all, I do not recall which watches I bought last year (for sure) as there were too many... But concerning Omega this was one of my most important purchases last year: kind regards Erich...
The caliber is 471, one of the first full rotor automatics... What makes this watch stand out of the crowd is not the movement but the rare dial (there is a "guess" of about 100 examples only...) kind regards erich
I suppose if I had to single out one then it woud have to be this one - my 1965/66 English cased 18ct Connie But there again, I could say my 1945 WWW or my 1949 Seamaster Bumper or.......................................
but my best Omega purchase for 2010 was without doubt my 560 calibre Swiss cased Seamaster deville. both were from 1964 so fit well into my collection. Graham...

While I have been fortunate enough to get a number of vintage omegas in 2010 these two stand out in my mind - I like them very much and they are very difficult to find for sale. The first purchase is this uncommon piece - and rare in this condition cal. 7...
Hi mrsnak, isn´t this watch an aesthetical and geometrical beauty without the second crown? (Sorry, could not refrain from teasing when coming across this pic of yours ) Cordially, anaesdoc
My favorite is this vintage YG Connie that I discover while browsing previous connie roll call. I am so please with this. A value buy too I also got another steel model as a restoration project. Nothing has been done so far. Right now I'm researching what...
Hi Tyler, What I can see from the picture looks quite OK... hands seem to be original - crown commands a 10 sided replacement crown! Dial is not correctly redone - the font is not correct - for original pieces google the posts of Desmond - he has written ...
Hi everyone... Wow just some great watches !! Well here is my favorite purchase... a first run 30 mm Omega. Omega in early 1939 introduced the 30 mm movement. Omega did a limited first production run of 600 units between Feb and April of 1939. The watch y...

with regard to it being 'rarely seen' and its condition i think it must rank as one of my favourite pick ups of 2010, but i put it in a case with some others i dont wear very often so it slipped from my mind. i remembered it today due to the world timer p...
thanks Stefan, the whole shape of these 70's T12's are great. they do what is essentially an 861 calibre model which i used to own. it makes a great alternative to a speedmaster, but not a cheap one. best G
