Of course, they have different movements. EW has the Calibre 321 with an open caseback whereas the FOiS has the Calibre 3861 with a closed caseback engraved with the hippocampus medallion. But it’s the face that has the most distinguishing features. The E... 

I do wish the bracelet didn't have those lateral polished links. I think maybe the black strap is the way to go. Funny it looks bigger on your wrist than the snoopy. For the watch being smaller diameter and thinner it does have a longer lug to lug🤔

This is a great reminder that we shouldn’t make harsh decisions or choices based on specifications. This is one of the reasons I was hesitant to get the previous FOiS. But with the option of a bracelet on this latest FOiS, I think it ‘hides’ this somewhat... 

I think we are used to the links sort of hiding the lug to lug a bit because it blends in. This new version definitely is a looker for sure!

my first thought was, "Why would the previous sapphire shape be a cause of anxiety?"

I tend to be a little more cautious with pieces that have hesalite crystals (i.e. anxiety). With this FOiS, you get that ‘distortion effect’ of a hesalite crystal, yet it’s a sapphire crystal.
