Also interesting to know that the original power reserve was 60 hours. Of course it is possible that a replaced mainspring can´t reach this so long reserve. It´s incredible that in such an small movement Omega could make a mainspring capable to obtain suc...

. . . with a grey 'Fab. Suisse' dial. The difference between references 3635 and 3637 is that 37 has a sapphire crystal. I believe Abel's is a 35 . Art ...
Hello dear Art! That´s a very interesting point. As a matter of fact I feel my watch got a sapphire glass: its surface look and the water dropplet test makes me think it is sapphire...
... and I was surprised by this matter. The "sound test" doesn´t work for me in this watch. Though I have some doubt, I would say it is sapphire. Best. Abel
The other difference between the two references, Abel, is . . .
. . . the size of the crystal. Ref 3637 has a slightly shorter crystal. You can tell by the area between the crystal's edge and the edge of the case. A 3637 will have more case surface area than a 3635.
Ok, another interesting piece of information dear Art. Guess I would need to compare it with another example. I look forward to a new meeting with you and will take this with me to show you.
