as new or as it was?
Dear Airbur,
What would it be worth? A normally worn 1964 Speedy Professional (slightly protected crown and pushers) seems to go on ebay for easily 1500.- or more. If you have it restored you should know, that it might look as new, but having a new dial also lets it loose alot of it's old identity. And it will not be worth 1700.- more.
How about having the cristal (funny word to me) replaced and the mechanical side seen to and otherwise keep it original? A lovely Speedy fully functional and really up to everyday wear and tear, mine is proudly doing it even after twenty years.
