Hi, I personally would not do it for such a high sum. Try to find a good local repairsman to do the job for a fraction. If some parts are needed for replacement (if any at all??) which you cannot find "on the market" you will have to send it to Bienne... ...

if the model you sent is a 145.012 as the pic of the PC screen suggests then it doesnt have a huge value, probably not much more than the quote for repair, however, it being your fathers watch it is well worth a repair due to its sentimental factor, but n...
