I sold it based on it was a snapback and kept a different watch that was a screwback. My own personal wearing preference. I happen to easily perspire and I have been know to fog up alot of snapback watches. I do have snapbacks in my collection ( limit to wearing in the late fall and early spring times of the year).

Here are some photos of the watch prior to the dial replacement and polish. As you can see, the case must have suffered from quite a bit of oxidation, as the 'before and after' disparity is quite clear! I was too thick to realize it before the polishing, ...

One other point to consider...
is that new (or NOS) dials often tend not to look warm under artificial lighting. This one, like most, really shows best under natural light.
