Hello Ruffian! Beatiful Seamaster you share here. It´s interesting to note the similarity of dial with the Railmaster. Very nice indeed with those patinated indexes.

Regarding the rotated pictures (which have already been corrected by FabR) I can tell you that it is due to an incompatibility between photo format in I Phone shots and our WPS system.

Fortunately it is very easy to rotate the pictures when you load them.

You just need to click in the three horizontal bars at left of image,

then four options will be shown for you.

You choose "rotate" and click there till the picture is in the correct position.

Then you click again on three bars and the menu will be closed. And you can click in the upload button upper right as usual.

It is more easy to do than to explain. I enclose a few shots to ilustrate.

Hope it will help you and our friends experimenting this problem.

Best cordial regards, Abel

This pictures appears rotated:

A few pics of a 1957 Seamaster. (For you, Art.)

Here are a few pics of a Seamaster CK 2937-1: A purchase I made on New Year's Day after falling in love with the patina on the hour indices. And those curvaceous lugs. Not a Ranchero, although certainly resembling it. What do you all think? PS. Apologies ...

Thanks Tony

Only crazy people go crazy over patina!

Thanks for the reminder about ref 2937, Ruf - it had fallen off my radar . . .

. . . when it should've been a prime target all along. It's back on my search list now. Appreciatively, Art

The centre seconds "Seachero" ref. 2996

This is the SM version of the Ranchero, often referred to as "Seachero" ...

I've pretty much conceded the Railmaster quest . . .

. . . but a Seachero would be the next best substitute. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous example, Erich. Admiringly, Art

Me too!

Not a fan of portmanteaus but I do love the watch!
