Dan

Hi Dan …

I have handled this Omega and it’s very nicely made and fits well on the wrist and the textured dial looks very good. The movement is the excellent Co-Axial Master Chronometer. It’s also Anti-Magnetic. Are you considering one and if so what are your thoug...

Hey Captain

Hi Captain. Yep I really fancy the look of the black one. I had the 300 Spectre but it wore huge on the bracelet due to the protruding end links.I love the more subtle dial text as it nots to the 300 from the 60 and same as the Trilogy 300.

I agree with you …

… is a wonderful and close rendition of your superb original model dear Nicolas! Here a few shots of mine: And a last double wrist shot comparing my original model at right with original steel bracelet and the 60th Anniversary at left. ...

Super!

Great comparison. I love the scratches on the older version. A bashed up Trilogy would be amazing haha.

Thank you so much Daniel!

As soon as you wear the new watch from the Trilogy it will receive micro scratches and some true scratches which will give character and life to the watch. The vintage watches show that character and charm of a well used timepiece! Best Abel

Agree!!

Thanks a lot dear Nicolas for your kind compliments. Yes, the lollipop hand is a very charming detail. Regrettably mine has lost its lume a long time before arriving to me...

... and I don´t have here in my land a watchmaker which I can rely in restoring it with correct matching color so I preferred to left it as I found it. The watch keeps working fine anyway. Abrazos amigo mio! Abel

Thank you Nicolas!! I hope next year to be able to return…

Trilogy 300

 By: danielbarnicoat : October 31st, 2021-16:24
I had the Trilogy piece but the large shiny inner bezelling was too much and the watch was super shiny. I love the scratched versions from the 60's however.

It’s a fresh watch, so i guess it take some time the watch drops into the anomaly deep space of watch pro site. Stars are born and icons are in the make. I really adore the heritage Seamaster with the blue textured dial and yellow cream vintage indices, a...

Great everyday watch for all occasions

This one is a great omega with some vintage vibe. Great choice

I like it but

As a panerai person, I have mixed feelings about that dial. Does Omega have any history of making such dials in the past?

I was considering this one but then found the blue a bit dull vs the marketing pics..

 By: Echi : October 31st, 2021-11:22
Having said that, i think the blue pops under direct sunlight. The black dial looks better but then if i go that route, might as well go for the 60th anniversary version. Other than that, it’s a great offer.

I haven't seen one in person yet...

but I'm really intrigued by this model, too! I find it more appealing than its predecessor in every way (and its predecessor was pretty appealing!).

Hello Dan! By coincidence yesterday I have been having lunch with a good friend who was wearing this new version of the SM 300 which he had bought just a few days before.

 By: Subexplorer : October 31st, 2021-14:15
I was wearing my own previous version so it was inevitable to exchange our watches and compare them finding its differences. The cosmetic differences are subtle but in my personal view they improved the looks of the new model so much. Difference are: The ...

And he had all 3 versions. I didn’t have time to spend since I was picking up a Christmas present for my wife that I had arranged in secret. I have been interested in the black dial but was really struck by the bronze/gold one. Surprising, since I general...

. . . the 60th . . . . . . and the new edition . . . . . . is that one's an homage and the other an interpretation. My sense is that most of us in this community are more attuned to the allure of originality, so it's not surprising the 60th gets the nod h...
