One of the reasons why I was unable to go beyond the speedy pro and the smp300.
I used to like the Aqua Terra design. Simple enough to be a default go to watch but then they introduced that teck(?) dial design. Was the old original design too plain? I don't know. But classically designed pieces need to be given time to "breathe" and gain the right kind of traction that will last.
Rolex and JLC, imvho, are good at this. Sure not all variants are nice and some polarize. But they're not "all over the place" and tend to stick to their releases a bit longer on average.
THis skyfall ain't too bad but where are they really going with that cube like dial?
Of course, markets do change and they might be playing to a lot of segments all at the same time. Not for me to say that it's wrong but I can understand where you're coming from.

I'd be embarrassed to be wearing a watch with 007 all over it. Don't get me wrong, big Bond fan, I just get sick of all the marketing bulls&^t, They put out so many of them that I don't think they'll be investments either.
