you have this very well thought out
so I won't go into much detail as in the end, it is just personal preference and I have to concur with Anthony that they're all very nice! I'm glad you chose simpler models as that is much more Panerai than anything else. I'm a no date person also!! The thing that I wanted to point out is that these somewhat "woah" dimensions are less of an issue than you think. I've had many 42-44mm pieces that looked too bulky or sat very large compared with the 44/45/47mm Panerais. I don't find them big at all. I don't have any statistics, but 7" wrists are VERY common, probably the most average wrist size and definitely more than 50% in the Panerai community which goes to say that size is not the problem. It takes time to get used to, but that's like 1-2 days
I think a luminor (111) case is much easier to get into than a 1950 case (312) so my vote goes to a 111. I also think rubber straps (for swimming) look better on a 111 than on a 312!
You might have missed out a Con that applies to any pam you choose...
The urge to get another really soon!!
Best,
Chris

Anthony, Thanks for taking the time to respond (much appreciated). My local AD has a PAM 111 but not a 177 or a 312 *I also heard about an Aug1 US price increase). I also like the look of the PAM 351 which futher complicates things (Titanium wear still ma...

I will likely end up winding both. My BP has a similar PR and with 5 watches it does not always get worn every 3 days. Hence my comment. I wear all of the watches and with six to wear, I will usually end up windning it in the AM. Setting of the hands is e...

While i don't have a 312, i do have a 217 so i have experience with a fiddy case. (that's all for my disclaimer) I also have a 111. If you want a sporty watch, i would say 312 is more suitable. The polished case of the 111 is a tad dressier. The domed gla...
