Overall, I really love this watch. It is an excellent choice in the luxury factory watch category, particularly for a traveler. Initial Positives: + Dial legibility is outstanding with the polished (even in low light without lume) + General level of finish is excellent throughout the watch + GMT fun

I need a bit of time to get my thoughts together. But as you can see, it does bring some new things to the party...

I also think that this version of the Day-Date 40mm goes well with the other three watches in my collection of four watches...

My Day-Date 40mm, 228239 with a Silver Stripe dial arrived yesterday. I will follow up with some impressions this weekend.
