In English we differentiate between turtle and tortoise. In French I believe they're all "tortue."
I've always liked tortoises. Especially ones with great taste in watches!

Good question! The snapping turtles are ill tempered!
All the tortoises I've met were fairly well tempered! Although I haven't met many! And the sea turtles in the Maldives are mostly well tempered, probably a little cautious not to get too close to me.
What they really need to guard these watches are...
