Taken in Morocco some 12 years ago: That is one of these watches I miss a lot, with my beloved Pre Vendome Logo. That pair was very alluring. But we cannot rewrite History, alas. At least I still have some fond memories about that watch. Best, Nicolas ...

Is he at least a snapping turtle?...

No, just a lazy one. [nt]

Good question! The snapping turtles are ill tempered!

All the tortoises I've met were fairly well tempered! Although I haven't met many! And the sea turtles in the Maldives are mostly well tempered, probably a little cautious not to get too close to me.

What they really need to guard these watches are...

An exceptional watch!

But perhaps it might be too large for a β€žnormalβ€œ European wrist?

42 mm " only ". [nt]

What a cool turtle! Or Tortoise.

In English we differentiate between turtle and tortoise. In French I believe they're all "tortue." I've always liked tortoises. Especially ones with great taste in watches!
