New watch - help please!
Morning all,
I am getting married in September and my fiancee, who knows just what she's getting herself in to, wants to buy me a watch as a wedding present (how lucky am I?!). But we're a bit stuck, and I'd really welcome people's thoughts.
My fiancee started off wanting to get me a Cartier Santos 100 - the steel case on a black strap - and I think this is still her first choice. But we tried out a PAM312 and a PAM233 at the weekend and now things aren't so clear!
We both love the 233 but budget is obviously a factor. I don't know much about Cartier watches so would really welcome your advice and opinions.
I wear a PAM51 most days and my other Panerai is a PAM210. I also have a Breitling Superocean Heritage (black on black rubber strap) and a black on black Tag Heuer Monaco.
So I'm looking for the right watch to complement my existing collection and join me and my wife-in-waiting as we grow old together. Not asking much am I?!?
Look forward to hearing from you and have a great Friday!
Jamie

both you & your fiancee got excellent taste. I do think PAM233 is the way to go and it's definitely worth the effort to go for it if that's what speaks to you. And your fiancee can always wear your PAM51 which would make a perfect couple w/ the PAM233? Wi...

"I'll wear your 51 (on a light blue strap or something" so you don't have to trade it". Not sure having TWO Paneristis under the same roof is such a great idea - we'd end up having to sell the roof!! Not sure which way this is going to go yet, and the fun...
