issue with pam 339 need advice
Today I had visited an authorized dealer in St. Martin with the intention to pick my ordered and prepaid merchandise in advance, pam 339. While I was inspecting the watch, I noticed that while winding the watch I could not reach the end of its winding. According to the salespeople present at the time, this was merely a design function. Owning quite a few manual wind watches including Pam 292j, I am almost certain this is not so. May somebody please confirm a conclusion. This would be greatly appreciated because tomorrow I was suggested to visit their other location in Philipsburg to resolve the issue and possibly collect another brand new Pam 339.
Thank you in advance

It is TRUE.....

the winding itself....DOESN'T stop....as such. The movement itself, engages a CLUTCH (there's a distinct clicking, audible to the ear) that tells you you've reached the max even though, as I said you can still wind the crown. I've had the 339 for a long t...

I too have tried reaching the end while winding and have not been successful. After a few hundred winds the watch started making odd sounds. This was a big issue for me so declined buying the watch. Besides the winding issue the case discoloration problem...

I collected the want yesterday and winding does not stop. This is the letter from Panerai: Dear First of all, thank you for your interest in Panerai. The PAM339 has an 8 day power reserve, since it contains our P.2002 movement. The winding should eventual...
No problems with my 339

perhaps the only thing i notice with the finishing is with the tiny screws holding the "lugs" in place. I don't think that the screws are ceramic and are perhaps just painted or coated...so they may be prone to chip. I love my 339, but it wasn't always th...
