If this means that you DIDN'T buy the PAM279...
you should count your blessing. Imagine is you had been able to buy one of the most horrible Panerai ever built
This being said, people are people and their behaviour can't monitored 24/7. You ARE right though: few years ago, before the boutiques expansion, Panerai production was rather limited and a "known" client was treated with priority. If you think about it though, if you're a member of a Frequent Flyer program, a Frequent Traveler program, Hilton, Hyatt etc member you DO have privileges (and nobody complains). Why should be different for a Frequent Panerai buyer? I was a Solitaire member of Singapore airlines for many years (before repatriating) and Solitaire membership was ALL about privileges. A Solitaire was guaranteed an economy class seat (minimum) on every flight. It means that if you turned up at the airport..last minute and without reservation, you could get on ANY SQ flight (in Economy if no other class available). If the flight was full or overbooked they would toss an Economy class passenger, with regular reservation to accomodate you!

But at the time, I couldn't locate one anywhere... however, it did lead me to nearly pulling the trigger on a PAM 40 before I was sucker punched by a higher bidder at a grey dealers!! I'm going to search your profile for some pics of the 36! I don't want ...

Hi ! I am also in HK. I know some people from the boutique well and heard the minimum spending to get the 671 was 250k (HKD) of their regular models (not include special or limited editions). It's a pity but they want to privilege their regular clients to...
