Officine Panerai

I do not dispute

That loyalty should be appreciated but I don't see how that goes against a manufacture producing more of their popular items to please more collectors unless it is their express intent to not do so for the purpose of creating stronger demand for those pieces.

By the same token, when you have a bunch of unpopular watches which even if you beg nobody would willingly buy them unless it is donr for the sake of getting in line for the popular pieces, then why keep producing them at all?

This is why a market is created for flippers and grey dealers. Some may prefer to buy a bunch of pieces they don't really want and be in line for the popular pieces while others prefer to pay more for only the pieces they want to buy. If there is nothing wrong with manufactures favoring their loyal customers, there is also nothing wrong with people flipping and people going to the Frey market dealers to buy what they want.
