Officine Panerai

Finding a good dealer/boutique is sometimes harder than finding a good watch

While I have no particular interest on Panerai, poor salesmanship across brands sounds way too familiar in our part of the world. It seems that many dealers have been spoiled by tourist shoppers who buy recklessly in recent years, and few of them still care about the products they carry.

It's fair enough for the hottest pieces to be reserved for the best clients, but give me a chance to become a good client by not just shoving every unsold overpriced piece in my face and expect me to budge. Take a minute to learn about my preferences and my reason for collecting. Another big problem we have here is that the hot pieces would then magically appear in local grey dealers which are quite clearly sourced from the same place that deem me unworthy to buy their watch.

It takes two to tango.
