Looks wonderful on your wrist, love the first pic which captures the essence of the dial.
As for swimming your mileage may vary depending on your strap, I swam with my ponte vecchio several times, mostly freshwater and it only came unglued recently. I have other leather straps designed for water use and there's always the rubber (the 662 looks great on the green rubber).
