Please tell me your thoughts on the Mare Nostrum. How did it wear?
This model is a far outlier, but has a certain charm. It zagged small as the rest of the line zigged large. The anti-Panerai if there would be one. -John
It wore perfectly. It was my first Panerai, in the late 90's, very early 2000. The 42 mm case doesn't wear small, even compared to / or after having worn 47 mm ones.
A real charm, and well, not so Anti Panerai, as the Mare existed, as a proto... In 1943. In a much bigger case, though. ...

Could possibly be the one Panerai to rule them all. For two piece Panerai collection 203 is needed.
This was the collectors editions of the best of the best from Panerai. What a wounderful set.
I don't think it can be matched ever again.
