42mm PAM682

This is my first Panerai since 2014. I always wanted a submersible but 44-47mm is too big for me. When i heard they are releasing a 42mm sub I wanted it. I wanted to own it but didn’t rush out to get it. Well today was the day!
This fit is perfection! Very comfortable strap with a short tail. Perfect height to weight ratio for the case. Quick strap change system is always a huge draw for me as well.
Now some things that confused me!
1. The bezel action is atrocious. I was actually surprised. It mother be the worst from any brand and that Includes $400 dollar Seikos!!!
2. The case back is solid on my model? In the reviews from HODINKEE and others the case is a display back variant.
Anyone know what gives?
3. The lume is nowhere near as good as the Pam000 or PAM320 I used to have. It also doesn’t last even remotely as long. Once again after Seiko it’s not even a contest!
Anyone notice this on subs?
That’s all. Great watch. Just not perfect!

since the pictures on the official Panerai website show a solid caseback, I can only conclude that the pictures in the web are NOT accurate and the model they refer to, it's not a 682 (it wouldn't be the first time that happens). If they produced it with ...
