Will take a pass on the “eSteel” logo, but also any of these new gradient and sun burst/brushed type dials they seem to be leaning towards. Think matte dials look much better. Some of the other releases look quite nice however

I purchased an inexpensive one as an experiment and found that I really don't care for the case material. Paying that much [Panerai] money for a watch that will develop a patina that is neither interesting nor attractive to me is not my cup of java. ...
I understand your point. I find Bronze very nice but indeed hard to justify price/value different between say the Tudor Bronze and the PAnerai Bronze!
On the Panerai side i tend to prefer the normal steel version

Does the use recycled materials cheapen the brand?
It says your watch is not new. It came from trash. Maybe should be priced lower.

They have to charge consumers for the rummaging of recyclables and the recycling process. Something that has been going on for decades and no one notices.
