Not a fan of the label “esteel” on the dial of the new Panerai product line!

is Eco sustainability. Mr Pontrue's address was all about preserving the eco system, oceans, eco sustainable materials as results of recycling. That being said, the ESTEEL on the dial, doesn't phase me anymore than everything else they have slapped on it, throu time: 8 days, automatic, power reserves, dates etc.
Will take a pass on the “eSteel” logo, but also any of these new gradient and sun burst/brushed type dials they seem to be leaning towards. Think matte dials look much better. Some of the other releases look quite nice however
I like it a lot. Am just not sure about the 42mm personally. I guess I am still too stuck on 47mm models or even 44mm ones from Panerai. Just not sure I would get a 42mm but I would have to try one in the flesh

If you like 42mm though it’s seem like a great watch
I purchased an inexpensive one as an experiment and found that I really don't care for the case material. Paying that much [Panerai] money for a watch that will develop a patina that is neither interesting nor attractive to me is not my cup of java.
Like a series of luxury watches will have an impact on global wellbeing... I want my luxury a polluting one! My coke with sugar and my beer with alcohol. Mo
