I think it’s a fair choice not to flood the market with an unlimited edition for Montblanc. They will need some more time to also establish a resale value of these and not having unsold pieces floating around is the right decision IMHO.
Plus the 13.21 movements take almost as much time to make as the 16.29, so there is a capacity constraint, too

Very nice dial (this green gradation is gorgeous) and mouvement but I hope they won’t “forget” the Devil’s tail. That would be a true mistake for me

Around 40 Hours, a bit more from memory. Yes, I was able to put it on my wrist, and it is the perfect size.
Yes, the buckle is the same. Let me come back on the size... I have zero problem with the 44 mm 1858 blue Tachymeter. But the 40 mm is more elegant on the wrist. Best, Nicolas

As for the raised price, two years later, it is 3 000 Euros more than the Tachymeter. Still a bargain, but... One thing I like a lot on the 40 mm, the bevelled lugs. Much better than the 1858 Tachymeter. Best, Nicolas

I like the green dial
but I think this color would pair nicer with a bronze or yellow gold case. the price point is fair, considering how much I paid for my 13.21 movement watch, even though mine is white gold and enamel dial. My concern is that current collectors would be off...
