I guess the next step would be to drop by a boutique and place it on my wrist. I wish MB would make more manual watches of wearable sizes ie 39mm and below (44mm is not, even though enthusiasts will try to convince themselves that it is a wearable).

Hard to answer if the steel looks more formal but you may be right - the monochrome look you produce with it is certainly colder, more detached than what you get with the warmer, RG case. I guess you can dress it down, especially if you change the strap f...

I fully agree - it is an honest watch - the type of watch making that went into the Minerva Pythagore (and generally into Minervas prior to the Gnutti era, which got elevated to a different level of finishing, and price). IMHO definitely a watch that fits...

There are several options, depending on what you want to spend. If you want the full performance, a Witschi is possibly your best bet but then it will cost you more than this Montblanc At the lower end you can start with an iPhone / smartphone attachments...
