Thank you very much. I am quite particular about accuracy in a mechanical watch (yes I know, I am terribly difficult to please!
) so I shall do my homework on a Witschi. It is ok if it costs more than the MB as long as it is not say 5 times more I don't use a smartphone so the second option is not an option for me. Many thanks again.

Hard to answer if the steel looks more formal but you may be right - the monochrome look you produce with it is certainly colder, more detached than what you get with the warmer, RG case. I guess you can dress it down, especially if you change the strap f...

I fully agree - it is an honest watch - the type of watch making that went into the Minerva Pythagore (and generally into Minervas prior to the Gnutti era, which got elevated to a different level of finishing, and price). IMHO definitely a watch that fits...

Got another non-Montblanc incoming, and then I will need to decide on the next move. Well, there is a watch present for a family member first, which will not be a Montblanc, and then... But to be honest, I still do not know.
