The watch should offer a chronometric level of accuracy, as the name states. Have not timed mine yet (reminds me to dig out the kit for doing so) but the movement is being used in quite some chronometer certified watches. Hope this helps!

Hard to answer if the steel looks more formal but you may be right - the monochrome look you produce with it is certainly colder, more detached than what you get with the warmer, RG case. I guess you can dress it down, especially if you change the strap f...

I fully agree - it is an honest watch - the type of watch making that went into the Minerva Pythagore (and generally into Minervas prior to the Gnutti era, which got elevated to a different level of finishing, and price). IMHO definitely a watch that fits...

There are several options, depending on what you want to spend. If you want the full performance, a Witschi is possibly your best bet but then it will cost you more than this Montblanc At the lower end you can start with an iPhone / smartphone attachments...
