Before they were sold to Richemont, LMH holded shares from IWC (100%), JLC (60%) and also 90% of A. Lange & Söhne. Here there was another deal from Blümlein: The A. Lange and Söhne outsize date was developed from JLC in the beginning of the 90th and the deal was, that only JLC was allowed to write the zero in the decade window, Langes first decade indication must be empty.

This watch is indeed quite significant as it was the first foray of JaegerLeCoultre into complicated wristwatches. The Odyseus case, now looked from a 35 years future, has developped a new timeless appeal I think.

Makes you wonder why all perpetual calendar watches are not set through crown only. I know a big part of it is the quick set function but those little dimples on the side case are not attractive, this is a clean watch. Thanks for posting

I honestly feel that JLC is missing a good product management team in recent times, they've all technical bricks but lack clarity ? - if I may say so. I didn't know this reference earlier, thanks for sharing ! Best, mahesh.,
