Yes, I think your assumption is correct ..
Having seen several watches from the brand, including the Reverso Tourbillon # 2 and the Gyrotourbillon, I am very impressed. It is nice to know that a JLC caliber ticks in my AP Chrono. Several of the watches you refer to in your survey triggers an interest to look further. On my list is also an Atmos Marc Newson.

It is amazing what JLC has achieved. If I may offer a wish I would like a Reverso with a good height to size ratio - I finde the GT size too small and the XGT too thick, I am just selling my Grande GMT because I could not warm to the thickness in the end....
