I'd like to see a XGT Reverso in steel for everyday wear showcasing the caliber 101. It should "suspend" the caliber between two sapphire crystals, and include indices for telling time on the chapter ring (or in some other way -- because there is nothing I like less than a watch that doesn't actually tell time).
I'd like to see a regular production successor to the MC Memovox styled in a vintage way a la the Tribute to Polaris.
I'd like to see a simple 40-41mm manual-wind, steel, three-hand watch with a ruthenium dial.
Is this asking too much?
Thanks for the great retrospective in pictures of highlights from the last 20 years of JLC's catalog. Having played with the RG Reverso Repeater recently, I am totally convinced that it was a fantastic design. The 70eme remains my favorite Reverso though! The depth, breadth and variety of JLC's designs reminds me of my favorite guitar brand, Gibson. The two companies have created so many iconic products over the years, and the sheer number of design iterations ensures that there is a JLC (or Gibson) for every taste. I don't think it's a coincidence that I'm drawn to both marques.
Cheers,
Daos
