You are absolutely right. I’m sorry I wrote about real experiences. It is what it is. Nico is pretty well versed with legal matters and I believe and his line is all about facts and remedies and defences. Defences is quite a different concept from “defensive”.
Some may face similar things and may react differently and get different results, but we see similar things happening to other members despite different approaches. We see a trend, pointing at poor customer service relating to a model of watch we happen to have. A google search on “JLC Navy Seals bezel dropped” will tell the story, so will a search on JLC’s email server on the service history of my watch, and many others facing the same issue.
Yes, I’ve looked past this brand especially after the Lambert era. Back then with him in charge, it was all about exciting movements like the Amvox(es), gyrotourbillion, extreme lab and many more. It was a void after he left.
I guess it’s time to write about happier things and look past bad experiences as a chance for brands to continuously improve themselves or to let this forum be about appreciating watches in good and bad (as long as it is the truth substantiated by facts).
For the sake of unlimited responses. I admit that I am exhausted talking about this particular watch design. There are better watches and experiences out there to talk about and appreciate.
