Nevermind about it, I accepted it.

I had sent 2 emails to them, no reply. That was 9 years ago in 2011. It is an inherent problem with the bonding process between metal and ceramic for which some adhesive was used for this design. Back then, a few other members om this forum posted the exacr similar thing happening to their NSA bezel.

Actually I like JLC for what they represent. I cannot say for the after sales service or sales service back then. They messed up my order for piece 88 for a reverso 1931 in rose gold, even when a deposit was made and it was commited via email. Ended up getting piece 388 with a discount, but it left a bitter taste.

I’ve grown acustomed to their lapses now, but still a customer. I guess we’re all human.

Cheers.

although I respect the history and looks of the Polaris and Deep Sea lines, the Navy Seals line (especially the Alarm) has the best mix of modern tech while still being true to their heritage. I don't even understand why anyone would choose anything else ...

Loved it so much at first, then later I hated it so much. I brought it with me on so many adventures, loved the ceramic and titanium, and the loud alarm. I recall the loud ring underwater, and it often made other divers look around to find the source of t...

you could have talked with Nicolas (moderator here) as he is close with Jerome Lambert (ex CEO of JLC) and now CEO of the Richemont group. I am pretty sure it would have been handled without issue. And like I said, I have owned literally over 50 different...

I have had bad experiences with AP, Blancpain, Patek, Rolex,.etc...like everyone else. These manufacturers are responsible for hundreds to thousands of employees so I do understand that there could be incidents where a customer gets neglected or overlooke...

You are absolutely right. I’m sorry I wrote about real experiences. It is what it is. Nico is pretty well versed with legal matters and I believe and his line is all about facts and remedies and defences. Defences is quite a different concept from β€œdefens...

if you look at the previous posts on this forum you will see that most of my JLCs come from the Lambert era as I appreciate the innovation and design during that time. I currently have 3 Duometres, an Extreme Lab 2 in Ti, this NSA, a MCDC, a MUT 34, Amvox...
