I regret not having pursued it further

Thank you for your advice. Yes I met Mr Lambert in person at the reverso event in Singapore back then at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Back then Mr De La Porte was the director for SE Asia, and has since moved to Lange or something. I pretty much knew the team back then. Teams change, management approaches vary between different leadership, and likely my email was shoved by someone who read it but chose not to reply, and I should have asked for more advice to reach the top level instead of stopping there.
I’m a person who delivers and values trust, and when and if a watch company invites me for an event, I’d be one of the buyers, instead of just a “filler”. I am not a grey market seller, and pride myself to be among the top professions in the world - one which requires good manners, evidence-based methods, and being empathetic to sick people.
Many members here know and have met me in person. I’ve made many life long watch buddies here.
Without a doubt JLC is a great brand technically, and will continue to be, but 1 bad apple can sink their hard earned reputation. Just 5 days ago, a senior manager sent an email to me to follow up about the Zoom session for the new releases, and I wrote my enquiries. He did not reply to me, and after a chaser, simply delegated it to his subordinate to reply to me. I wouldn’t do that - a simple reply like “Dear Mr XYZ, I have forwarded your enquiry to my colleague...” would suffice as simple professional etiquette.
I just ordered another JLC and will document all my encounters in case of liability/professionalism issues like this, and if anything happens I would not hesitate to make sure my emails are answered.
If only they’d knew the cost of having managers/staff who tarnish the brand. Maybe they lost a potential buyer and his friends, for their grand complications.
Sincerely,
Mike
