Visit at La Manufacture (part III)

After entering the building through a security gate, here we are finally in the welcome hall !

Let's meet our guide for the day...

We were then invited to go to a private room for a short meeting with Jaeger's international director.

After putting our work coat on...

... we were all ready to start the visit of several departments, in particular:

     - R&D,
     - master complication assembly,
     - caliber manufacturing,
     - wheel manufacturing,
     - anchor assembly,
     - chamfering,
     - guilloche engraving,
     - gemstone crimping,
     - ATMOS assembly,
     - ...

The 45 minutes horological lesson with 'maître horloger' Christian Laurent were very interesting.
He explained us in details the caliber and main features of several Jaeger's best horological master pieces:

     - Duométre à Chronographe,
     - Duométre à Quantième Luniare,
     - Duométre à Sphérotourbillon,
     - Reverso Gyrotourbillon 2,
     - Master Grande Tradition à Répétion Minutes.

I could never imagine having all these master pieces in my own hands !!!
Listening to the cristal sound of the Répétion Minutes was such a wonderful experience.

Taking pictures during the visit was strictly forbidden but we were all very welcome by each employee and they always took the time to answer all our questions.
