yup, chocolates and honey .................from JLC
Visited the manufacture the past 2 days. I was not allowed to take pictures inside the manufacture. So sorry but you will not get a nice review. All I can tell you is that you will enjoy it if you ever get the opportunity to have such a visit. I saw other manufactures in the past but this was pretty impressive. We all know they do use a lot of machines but walking through the people who do all the finishing work is a nice experience. Definitely if they will respond to any possible question you have. Ofcourse the first 45 minutes together with 'maître horloger' Christian Laurent is a wonderfull experience too. It was nice to discover the sphérotourbillon, Gyrotourbillon and other master complications. Dinner could have been with Mr Jérôme Lambert but I guess he had other plans, no problem the other man from JLC who joined us at the table (sorry forgot his name) was a great person too.
I will post some pics bul ike said, not from the manufacture :-(
Just a few pictures from ultra complicated JLC's I took in the past
one pic I took is this one, looks like a JLC inspired by Renaud & Papi. Could have been a complicated AP or Richard Mille
Anyway, it were 2 impressive days. A lot of nice things, good hotel, good food, ...
The most beautifull thing I saw.... could it be the sphérotourbillon ? the gyro ? the view of the mountains and lake ... uhhh now probably it was the female employee from my AD LOLOLOL ( and now, I will not post pictures
)
Thanks maison Degreef in Brussel for this great gesture !
