This, for sure, is a very nice timepiece.. with a lovely complication.. AND..

.. on a personal note, this was my second JLC ( following a Reverso Duo) ,
38 diameter/ ss.
That was way back more than 10 years ago - and I still very much love her

She still runs perfectly, keeps the time well and still has that low-key look,
which I like in watches - not too much bling, something you apprehend
only at the second look, but then enjoy what you see..

I have been in many countries, never let me down, always great to look at:
- the only thing, which I did miss and still do, are the very tiny luminous
dots, and a limited night- visibility of the hands, as well.

I guess and would expect that that luminosity has been improved, anyway
- to my assessment this is still a very fine watch - not more, not less

IMO, this generation is the nicest aesthetically of the Master Geo line. I also like the compressor geo, which seems more harmonious having left off the reserve de marche; but I think the sportiness of that piece makes it a harder sell for the world trave...

You are absolutely correct. The hinged caseback adds so much appeal to an already gorgeous watch. I would say of all I have seen, the 38mm Rose Gold looks the most natural of the entire series, and the hinged caseback makes it just that much more special....

The stainless steel case black dial is damn gorgeous, too. [nt]
