I like the Master Geo...
It was one of my first "nice" watches that I purchased new many years ago. Mine is 38mm in rose gold and it is a nice size. I think the newer one looks a bit better, although I really like the hunter case back on my piece.
If I were to get another though, I would be tempted to pick up a second hand Master World Geographic...wish I would have gotten one of these when they were being made.

My favorite generation
IMO, this generation is the nicest aesthetically of the Master Geo line. I also like the compressor geo, which seems more harmonious having left off the reserve de marche; but I think the sportiness of that piece makes it a harder sell for the world trave...

You are absolutely correct. The hinged caseback adds so much appeal to an already gorgeous watch. I would say of all I have seen, the 38mm Rose Gold looks the most natural of the entire series, and the hinged caseback makes it just that much more special....

I got this one from a NYC dealer amost 3 years ago..
The person had only checked if the watch was running fine.... and it was. He never saw that Ketchum was replaced from Denver and printed in blue, unlike all the other cities printed in black!...to my great joy as it makes this watch very unique adding som...
