Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with either Polaris model whatsoever and at the prices I am seeing them for lately it is a model I am seriously considering. I think the financial situation has a part to play in this, but there has been lots of discussion on the other points you raised - index colours & luminosity, mis-matched hands, little circle indices not filled with lume, etc. None of these points are an issue for me and if the result is more Polaris in the after market, I am happy.

From personal experience...
the AD that I purchased the Polaris from would not give any discount saying that it was a very hot and rare commodity new. His attitude was buy it or someone else will. I bought it and am very happy that I did. N
