Hmmm...
Well there are watches and there are watches - Breitling just don't do it for me (and I used to own one). I'm not overly struck by Panerai either, I just don't get the hype regarding them (once again, sorry Paneristi). As I have said, I to and frow around other manufacturers, but I always return to JLC. Your dinner companions had one thing right though, the Amvox2 is one of the most original and unique chrono's on the market and I am quite taken by each model that has been released. I think the two new Racing models are quite stunning - it's getting very difficult to make a choice (as you know)!!!

From personal experience...
the AD that I purchased the Polaris from would not give any discount saying that it was a very hot and rare commodity new. His attitude was buy it or someone else will. I bought it and am very happy that I did. N
