Thanks for a great review.
Nicolas a few questions:
I am confused with 63, 65, 67, 68 and 70 editions. Can you specify in a chronological order all the Polaris and the number of pieces and the differences.
The original Polaris had nylon straps?, the re-edition straps look like leather? Can you get Nylon/rubber/Kevlar or non leather, that you can actually use in the sea without destroying it after a few times and how wide is the strap?
Can you get more plexis, as I would want one wear and tear, second one if the first get a deep scratch and have a 3rd as an emergency one that you might need in the future? I have also heard you can get the plexis polished a few times to get rid of shallow scratches, can you elaborate on that. (how many times, where and does they need to send the watch to HQ to do it)
Will you get a book with the Polaris that has all the history?
The 68 will be the start of my JLC collection (I inherited my grandfathers Memovox and reverso). I want to learn more history about JLC and all their collections, is there a book you can recommend?
I actually like the Calypso dials, can you get them?
Best,
C
