omega in this case
i had a planet ocean, which i loved till it disappeared, and i have a jlc extreme world chrono. i only say this to express my bona fides: i love watches from both brands. in this particular comparison, i think the omega is more versatile. as a strictly casual sport watch, the jlc might be better, but the omega has enough shiny bits to make it work really well in less casual situations. i personally think the chrono overdoes it if you want it for business/dress as well, but it edges out the jlc in this instance. also, the movement is really nice/interesting.

The Omega does seem to work better for alternating between dress and sport. Now its going to come down to which watch fits my wrist nicer and which one is better made at this time.

Can you tell me how durable this JLC watch is? Is it shock resistent? I know it's a 44mm but How thick is this JLC watch? The Omega is 45.5mm and 19.5mm thick. I hope its not as thick or thicker. Thanks.
