Agree completely
The JLC is just too sporty for my tastes. I've owned 2 Planet Ocean watches. The design is a great mix of classic, modern, sport and the new business. But for me they felt too thick. This was with the 2500 calibre so the 8500 is out for me. But it sure looks great.

The Omega does seem to work better for alternating between dress and sport. Now its going to come down to which watch fits my wrist nicer and which one is better made at this time.

Can you tell me how durable this JLC watch is? Is it shock resistent? I know it's a 44mm but How thick is this JLC watch? The Omega is 45.5mm and 19.5mm thick. I hope its not as thick or thicker. Thanks.

usses the best I am sure, have seen in the flesh and the lum pops, more than the B&R lum IMHO and I like what they use.
