Not the best effort from JLC.
Some of the negatives that I see:
- too small movement for the case made obvious by the very central positioning of the sub-dials
- outdated and very basically finished movement with on top a cheap tungsten rotor : definitely not JLC-like
- I was able to handle the watch and was disappointed by the haptics : case and bracelet do feel and look "cheaper" than comparable watches from the likes of IWC,GO and Omega
JLC can do much better in every aspect as recently proven by the renewed Master Control series.

Why is this watch not popular? Seems perfect at 42 mm, simpler bicompax dial and *no* date... It even comes with a blue dial... ...
Great watch
I have been contemplating one for a while, at the same price point of a Seadweller JLC offers a far higher grade of finishing and features, fantastic daily watch. My favorite is the simple time only model.

Maybe because it is too large. 42 mm with very thin bezel.
Wears like 43 mm. And yes the movement is too small. I have tried the simple 3 hander at 41 mm, it wears like 42 on my small wrist
