My sincere congratulations!
Hi Dje,
watch a catch, particularly enjoyable after you missed one last year!
This watch also appeals to my senses, much more than many modern, more complicated and larger watches. When looking at these watches (like the PP´s, VC´s, Omega´s or Rolex´s) from the 1950´s and 1960´s, I often wonder, whether there has really been much progress in horology and I become nostalgic 
.
Do you plan to refill the lume of the hands or do you want to keep the original state of the watch?

By JLC. I attended a JLC dinner in Copenhagen with mr Shaffter. The watch had an engraving with the Mt Antoine LeCoultre on the back. Mr Shaffter explained he had worn the watch during the Climb. Christian

No but it was on my mind;-) BUT I was sitting next to one of the JLC reps and I seriously spend more than 30 minutes pleading the reasons why JLC should do tribute to this watch. I think at the end the poor guy was a bit overwelned ;-) You're a clever guy...
