I like the date, however...
I would have preferred a little extra $ in the construction: make the date wheel the same color as the dial and make the date font silver to match the index markers.

One last thought...
On this model, the date, logo and 2 index tips at 3 and 9 form a perfect circle within the circle. So, I think the date works VERY WELL on this piece. To me, this piece is as beautiful as the Patrimony or ANY Calatrava. -Dean
