I feel the same about the 3940/3970
Their modest dimensions make them very nice daily watches. I'm extremely fortunate to own the 5040 (Breguet hands and numerals), which I wear regularly. Its rounded tonneau case makes it slip very easily under essentially every shirt I own. The 3970 is a little taller, but I manage. (The cross I must bear)

I liked it better than the moon phase version. I had to buy the bracelet separately Really luxurious on the wrist and very pleasing to look at. Don't feel guilty when a JLC asserts itself in your watch box.
