I understand the tribute, but why Red? May be following the colors codes / tendencies could be more successful ?

I agree with most other repliers -- the lume version is the winner. However, I could do without the extra text -- just "LeCoultre" would look fantastic and really clean, in my personal opinion -- though it certainly isn't a dealbreaker for me either way. ...
How about a entire lumed central dial
Like those old school dive watches. And in the lume, perhaps a tiny negative space with “L.E Purists” Cool idea with the DSA.
